Description
This Limited Edition salmon reel is manufactured here in the UK. It is a simple design in a classic style, well engineered and has a beautiful floral scroll pattern etched on both sides. With a brass foot and handle this is a very attractive reel.
The click and pawl ratchet system is loud and evocative. The reel can be used either right or left hand wind with no adjustment. The exposed rim is gently scalloped to allow palming and there is no complex drag system. The reel simply uses the principle of a small arbor and shallow spindle to increase drag as more line is pulled off the reel. Simple but very effective.
The reel weighs 360g/12.7oz and will hold 75m of backing with a 65′ head #10/11wt or 100m backing with 55′ head #9/10wt spey line.
