Harris Tweed bags and accessories

I have launched an exclusive range of gorgeous Harris Tweed bags and accessories. The bags can be used as fishing bags, workbags or simply handbags. Postage is free for delivery within the UK!

Some of the bags feature a removable waterproof liner, others feature a removable tweed I-pad/tablet or laptop sleeve – also in tweed. These can either be clipped into the bag or used on their own.

I also have traditional fleece lined fly wallets and will be introducing further products in due course.

The bags are traditionally made in the UK by Chapman, the well-known Carlisle traditional bag-makers, with excellent quality leather and brass fittings. A joy to own….

 

Strathearn Series

The Strathearn series of traditional Harris Tweed bags comes in three sizes:

  • 12″ – Complete with a waterproof removable liner, this is a really useful small fishing or day bag
  • 14″ – Slightly larger, with a removable liner, this bag can also have an ipad/tablet insert in place of the liner
  • 16″ – This one – also with its liner – can take an optional laptop insert. The insert is beautifully thought out and could be used on its own.

All three bags in the Strathearn range have a wide adjustable webbing strap and very high quality leather and brass fittings. The ipad/tablet and laptop inserts can be purchased separately.

Glenartney Satchel

This large Harris Tweed bag has two large bellows pockets on the outside and two more on the inside. It also features an open pocket on the rear which will accommodate a laptop.

That said – one lady bought one for her daughter-in-law as a baby bag. We adapted the bag to take a waterproof liner and the bellows pockets can take all that a new mother requires. The rear pocket takes a baby changing mat. Brilliant!

So, for the home, country or city this is a very useful adaptable bag.

Cartridge Bag

The beautiful Harris Tweed cartridge bag with traditional “stay open” brass hinges has the capacity for 75 x 12 bore shells. With an adjustable wide webbing strap, there is also a large brass ring to attach your dog.

Stalkers Saddle Bag

In a similar style to the all tweed cartridge bag, this attractive bag has a leather all in one back and front quick release flap. The adjustable carry strap is again made in exceptionally high quality leather. The bag has an internal zipped pocket. Supplied in an eco friendly cotton storage bag.

Highland Backpack

How lovely is this? Practical too. The leather and tweed backpack allows you to carry your day to day things in style but keep both hands free. Ideal when shopping or out with the dogs and/or children! With a zipped internal pocket, a front bellows pouch and a drawstring to close, this is a very useful and stylish backpack. This too is supplied with an eco friendly cotton storage bag.

Lady Laird Handbag

With strong leather handles, this popular tote bag is surprisingly capacious. The bag fully zips closed for security and features a large internal zipped pocket and a mobile phone pocket.

Fly Wallets

In two styles we have lambswool lined fly wallets. One with a zip and one with poppers. The smallest item in the tweed range is a fly patch. This can be attached to your jacket or waders for quick access.
